An Invitation to a Very Special Garden -

The day begins with coffee at 11.00am and this will be followed by an illustrated lecture by Tony on The History of English Gardens. After this there will be a delicious lunch, followed by an afternoon tour of the gardens in the company of Tony. The day will come to a close with afternoon tea and homemade cake, accompanied by a complimentary signed copy of Tony’s book.

 In 1989 Tony Russell was appointed head forester at Westonbirt Arboretum, one of the finest collections of trees and shrubs in the temperate world. He was responsible for the conservation of its many rare and endangered species. Tony is now widely regarded as one of Britain’s leading authorities on trees and shrubs and has presented many gardening, horticultural and countryside programs, for both for TV and radio.
