At Miserden Estate, sustainable deer management is at the heart of our approach. Through controlled, ethical harvesting and monitoring of deer numbers we help maintain a balanced deer population that ensures healthy ecosystems. This conservation-focused strategy prevents overgrazing, promotes regeneration of native flora, and fosters biodiversity.

By consuming venison sourced from the Estate, you’re directly contributing to these efforts, supporting habitat preservation and the restoration of the woodland understorey.

Our Winter Warmer Wild Venison Boxes are now available.  Costing £20, each box contains:

• 6 venison sausages
• 2 venison steaks
• 500g diced venison steak

You can purchase and collect your box from Miserden Village Stores or directly from the Estate by sending an email to hello@miserden.org entitled ‘Winter Warmer Wild Venison Box’.  Customers who live further afield, a postage and packaging fee is added and the venison will be frozen and insulated to ensure it reaches you in the best possible condition.
