What are the opening times and days for Miserden Garden? 

The Garden is open Wednesday through to Sunday between the hours of 10am and 5pm for visitors with a ticket. 

The garden is open to the public from 29^th March 2024 to 1^st October 2024. 

How much does the garden entry cost? 

Entrance tickets cost £12 with children under 16 years free of charge. There are unfortunately no concessions. Disabled visitors are permitted free entry for a carer currently working with them. 

You can purchase your ticket in advance by clicking here, or you can buy your ticket when you arrive. 

We do accept Historic Houses cards but please register your membership number online or in person when visiting.

What is the Friends of Miserden pass? 

For those of you who enjoy Miserden Garden across the seasons, we offer a Friends Pass that allows unlimited entry during normal entry times for the pass holder. Further details and a booking form can be found here. 

What refreshments are available at the Garden? 

We are currently renovating our food trailer which will be open in mid to late May and serving tea’s, coffee and a delicious assortment of treats and light bites. Keep an eye out on our website for more details or be the first to know by signing up to our newsletter here.  

Can we bring our own food and drink? 

Unfortunately, we don’t allow guests to bring their own refreshments into our Garden or surrounding areas, however, you are more than welcome to take a picnic into the  Wider Estate if the weather is permitting! there are some lovely local walks which we can suggest - available here. 

Is the Glasshouse Cafe open? 

The Glasshouse Cafe is closed as we assess its repair needs, but our food trailer will be providing coffee, teas and light bites from mid to late May onwards. Thank you for your understanding.  

When is the Sculpture Exhibition at Miserden Garden? 

The Creating Spaces sculpture exhibition will be displaying at Miserden Gardens from 18^th May to 18^th August 2024. There will also be an indoor exhibition in Miserden Club Room which is located opposite the Carpenters Arms pub. Do you offer garden tours? 

We offer garden tours for large groups and further details can be found here.

Are there toilet facilities at Miserden? 

Yes. Loo’s are available at the Glasshouses near the car park and also at Butlers Walk on the north western end of the garden.

Are the grounds supervised? 

We hope you enjoy your visit to the garden, please note the grounds are not supervised, contact 01285 821303 to report to any incidents or damage to property. In an emergency please call 999. 

Please be aware that some routes in the garden include uneven ground and uneven steps. Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times. 

Are the gardens suitable for disabled visitors? 

The garden has firm gravel tracks running around it, however, there are some slightly deeper gravel areas – some routes do include steps and uneven ground but there are alternatives as detailed in our tour map.  

Are dogs allowed? 

Dogs are not permitted into the Garden (except service and assistance dogs), but we do have friendly resident dogs who may come up to meet you and say hello!

How long will it take for me to walk around the garden?
Most people will be able to leisurely view the whole garden in 1hr 30 to 2hr.

Is there visitor parking at Miserden Garden? 

There is plenty of car parking for visitors to the Garden and the cafe trailer. Follow the signs to the Garden, through the village of Miserden taking the route downhill from the bus shelter in the centre with the pub behind you. When you reach the end of the road, tour right and immediatly left then right into the grass carpark.
