Grand Opening
On Saturday 28th May 2022, we are excited to welcome visitors to the Garden at Miserden as the ‘Creating Spaces’ sculpture exhibition run by the Cotswold Sculptors Association opens. Exhibits are being placing within the garden and arboretum and some indoor sculptures will be displayed within The Club Room in the village. See here for more information about the Sculpture Exhibition. We are offering visitors free entrance to the garden and during the afternoon a string quartet will be will be playing, adding to the delightful quintessential English atmosphere of the garden.
This is the official Grand Opening day for the newly reinvigorated Glasshouse Café, where freshly prepared lunches, delicious refreshments and cakes can be enjoyed in beautiful atmospheric surroundings. We will be running demonstrations of jewellery making, cookery and foraging and metalwork to launch our schedule of workshops being hosted at The Peach House. Sculptors exhibiting in the garden will also be demonstrating their skills in what is set to be a showcase of local talent and craft.
Lucky competition winners will be enjoying afternoon tea in a tranquil corner of the garden and the doors of our Potting Shed Shop will be open selling beautiful craft and garden gifts, many created from Miserden wood.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Grand Opening Day - Saturday 28th May 2022
